Global Partner Initiative: Mapping People Counter Installations in Your Market

Know Your Market. Strengthen Your Position.

Many of our top-performing partners in the USA, Europe, and Middle East have already completed similar surveys, and the results have been remarkable. By systematically identifying legacy systems, they’ve uncovered major replacement opportunities — retailers eager to upgrade from outdated counters but unsure where to start. Combining that insight with FootfallCam’s superior price-performance ratio has helped them secure large-scale conversion projects.

Objective

To build a verified picture of the current people counting landscape in your country — identifying which brands and models are being used across malls, retail chains, and public venues.

How to Carry Out the Survey

  1. Visit Key Locations: Choose 2–3 major shopping malls or retail clusters (covering around 200 stores in total).
  2. Observe the Entrances: Look up at the shop doorways to locate people counting devices.
  3. Identify the Equipment:
    • 3D Counters: Flush-mount with two or more lenses
    • 2D Counters: Dome or single-lens box style
    • Unknown: Note as “Unknown” with a brief physical description.
  4. Record the Findings: Using the Excel template file provided or any note app, write down:
    • Mall Name / Store Name
    • Brand and Model (if visible)
    • Description (e.g. flush-mount dual-lens)
    • Estimated installation age (new, mid-age, or old)
    • (Optional) Attach a photo for reference.
  5. Submission: Share your findings with your regional contact.

What Happens Next

FootfallCam will:

  • Consolidate the reports into a market intelligence dashboard.
  • Match findings with existing distributor and project data.
  • Identify potential upgrade targets and coordinate outreach with you.

The more detailed your insights, the stronger your local position when engaging retailers ready to modernise their systems.
