People Counting for Lima Metro – Line 1
The project initially focused on measuring passenger flow at five key stations on Lima Metro Line 1, tracking the number of passengers boarding and disembarking trains. Following the success of the initial deployment, the objective expanded to support implementation across the entire network.
Today, the system provides real-time passenger data, enabling operators to improve service efficiency, optimize resource allocation, and make informed operational decisions based on accurate footfall insights. The solution has become a valuable tool in supporting the ongoing development and management of Lima's public transport infrastructure.
