Health & Safety Policy Statement

FootfallCam is fully aware of our duties and responsibilities toward the health and safety of our employees, contractors and other people who may be affected by our installation activities. It is our intention to maintain the highest possible standard of health and safety on our installation sites. In fulfilling this objective and responsibilities, FootfallCam has a duty to provide and maintain a safe working environment by reducing the risks to a reasonably practicable level. The policy statement and any revision of it shall be communicated to all workers.

FootfallCam is committed to the elimination of personal injuries, occupational illnesses and damage to equipment and property in all its operations; to the protection of the general public whenever it comes in contact with FootfallCam work and to the prevention of pollution and environment degradation by: -

  • Setting of corporate standards to deal with the business risk profile by exceeding minimum legal requirements;
  • Giving the highest priority to health and safety when considering other aspects in the business functions within its operations;
  • Providing information, training and supervision for our contractor in how to ensure safety in all their activities.
  • Require continuous communication between employees at all level, in order to make sure every employee has responsibility to report immediately any situation which could jeopardise the well-being of themselves or any other person.

Allocation of responsibilities for health and safety

Recognizing the hazards occurring in the installation procedure, FootfallCam will take every practicable step to provide and maintain a healthy and safety for our employees, contractor and others people. To this end:

FootfallCam

  • Must observe, implement and fulfil its responsibilities under relevant health and safety law;
  • Must make regular assessments of health and safety performance and resources in co-operation with those with designated safety and health functions;
  • Must provide information, training and supervision for all employees and contractor regarding the correct and comprehensive installation procedure.
  • Must report and investigate incidents and accidents occurring during the installation so that health and safety performance can accurately be gauged.

Employee & Contractor

  • Should comply with safety procedures and direction;
  • Must not wilfully interface with or misuse items or facilities provided in the interests of health and safety of employees and contractor;
  • Must, in accordance with agree safety procedures for accident and incident reporting, report potential and actual hazards to FootfallCam.

This policy will be regularly reviewed in the light of legislation and company changes. We seek co-operation from all employees and contractors in realizing our safety and health objectives. All workers will be advised, in writing or displaying, of any changes and arrangements for their implementation.
