December 2024 UI Update

If you were using the FootfallCam Analytics Manager V9™ from before the UI refresh in December 2024, you might have noticed some changes to the categories in the top navigation bar.
Please note that  the changes made were to simplify the navigation of the Analytics Manager, and that no pages/features were removed.

2.1 Site Settings

Site refers to a store of the company, grouping the devices installed at the respective store and summed the counting data collected from all the devices. For retail chain, one site per one store is required, so that the higher management able to review the overall company performance and individual store performance separately. Site creation is required before device can be added to the portal. In this section, we will explain about the set up related to sites such as create, edit and remove sites.

2.1.1 New Site Setting

We will brief about the three methods to create new site, which are single creation of site, bulk create site and bulk import site.

Note: After creating a new site, it may take 1-2 hours for the site to appear in the site list. Please allow some time for the system to update.

2.1.1.1 How to Create New Site

Step 1 - Click on Settings > Site > New Site button to access the Site Info page.

Step 2 - Fill in the relevant information for the required fields and click on the Create button.

In this page, it will show all the tickets and the RMA(s) cases of this site. By using this page, you can directly reply to the ticket or view the response of the FootfallCam support team.

2.1.1.2 How to Bulk-Create/Bulk-Import Sites

Bulk-creating sites can be made easy by importing a list of sites into FootfallCam V9™. With this feature, a user can efficiently create multiple sites by uploading a spreadsheet with the required information for the sites to be created.

Without this feature, a user will need to create each site individually, which is exhausting and time-consuming.

Step 1 - Click "Settings" in the top navigation bar. Then, under "Data" in the left navigation bar, click "Import & Export". After that, click the "Create a Job" button.

Step 2 - Insert a recognisable name for your job to import the list of sites in the "Job Name" field. For the "Job Type" option, select "1089 - Data Import". Click "Create" to proceed.

Step 3 - You're now directed to the "Import Job" page. Under the "Data Extraction" section, click on the "Data" field and select "New Site Creation". In the "Data Source" field, select "Microsoft Excel".

Step 4 - In the "File Template" row, click the link to download the file template.

Step 5 - Open and edit the file. Below is the explanation for each column:

Step 6 - Return to FootfallCam V9™ and select the "Parser Type" as "Site". In the "Upload File" section, click the "Browse" button and upload the edited spreadsheet. After all these have been done, click "Next".

Step 7 - Select "Default Transformation" and click "Next".

Step 8 - Select "One-off" as the "Mode" and click "Create Job". Only "One-off" is the only option for this type of job. Notice that the "Date Range" has been selected for you as today's date, indicating that the job will begin right away.

Step 9 - You are now returned to the "Import and Export" list where you may observe the list of jobs. Here, you will see that your job has been created. Observe the "Status" column which indicates the progress of your job. The speed of your job is proportional to the number of sites to be created. If your job hasn't finished in a reasonable amount of time (e.g. 15 minutes), kindly contact "project@footfallcam.com".

Step 10 - After the "Status" of the job has been updated to "Successful", go to "Settings" in the left navigation bar and click "Site". Here, you will observe that your sites have been successfully created.

2.1.2 Existing Site Management

In this section, we will explain how to edit an existing site, including modifying the operation hours or creating a custom operation schedule.

Note: If you are a non-admin user, you will not have permission to make any changes to an existing site. In this case, please contact your admin to request the necessary permissions or to assist you in updating the site information.

2.1.2.1 How to Edit Existing Site

This section is mainly about edit the details of the existing site such as Site Name, Site Code, Country, TimeZone, and Site Group.

Step 1 - Click on Settings > Site > Edit button in Action column to access the specific Site page.

Step 2 - Update the desired field and click the Save button to save the changes.

2.1.2.2 How to Remove Existing Site

We do not encourage to remove sites, this is because when remove a site, all the historical data related to the site will also be removed. This will bring to a scenario that the data is missing or not tally. If you are sure that all the data related to the site will no longer be required, then you may refer to the steps below to remove a site.

If the data of the site will still be useful to your company, we recommend you to select Store Closure for Site Profile. 

Step 1 - Click on Settings > Site > Edit button in Action column of the site to be deleted to access the specific Site page.

Step 2 - Complete the process by clicking on the Delete Site button at the bottom right corner of the page.

2.1.2.3 How to Update Site Status

For sites that are no longer in use or have a change in operation, we recommend updating their status accordingly. There are three available status options:

Step 1 - Click on Settings > Site > Update Site Status button 

Step 2 - Select the desired status and choose the relevant sites

Step 3 - Click on Submit to update the site status.

2.1.2.4 How to Modify Operating Hours of Site

Users who would like to update their operating hours in their existing store may do so with an Admin account.

Basic operating hour indicates one operating hour only for a day.

Step 1 - Click on Settings > Site > Edit button in Action column to access Sites page.

Step 2 - Navigate to the Operating Hours section and amend the operating hours as desired.

Step 3 - Complete the process by clicking on Save button on the bottom right of the page.

2.1.2.5 How to Set Up Multiple Operating Hours

Multiple Operating Hour indicates a maximum of two operating hours for a day.

Step 1 - Click on Settings > Site > Edit button in Action column to access Sites

Step 2 - Navigate to the Operating Hours To create multiple operating hours, users may click on + icon at the end of each row of day.

Step 3 - Complete the process by clicking on Save button on the bottom right of the page.

2.1.2.6 How to Set Up Custom Operating Hours

Custom Operating Hours are extraordinary configurations of operating hours for a particular date (range). The configuration must be set up 24 hours before the date (range) applied for the setting to take effect. If the custom operating hours for a site are not set despite the site operating beyond the normal operating hours, any detected activity beyond the normal operating hours will be classified as "abnormal data", affecting the accuracy of future calculations and presentations.

The custom operating hours will completely overwrite the existing operating hours.
Example:
A site operates from 0900 hours to 2100 hours on a normal day. The user wishes to extend the operating hours to 2300 hours on Christmas Eve and thus set the custom operating hours for this site on 24/12/2025 to 0900 - 2300 hours.

Important Note:
The custom operating hours overwrite and NOT overlap with the existing operating hours. An extension of 2 hours to a site operating from 0900 to 2100 hours should be set as 0900 to 2300 hours and NOT 2100 to 2300 hours. The latter setting will be interpreted as the site operating only between 2100 and 2300 hours and will cause discrepancies in the site's data.

Step 1 - Click "Settings" in the top navigation bar. Then, under "Settings" in the left navigation bar, click "Site". Then, navigate to the row of the site to edit and click "Edit" on that row.

Step 2 - In the "Site Settings" page, click the "Site Operations" tab. Then, click the "New Custom Operating Hour" button.

Step 3 - Fill in the form.

Step 4 - Observe that a row has been created for your custom operating hours. Now, click "Save" to apply your changes to this site.

Step 5 - If you wish to remove any unwanted custom operating hours, click "Delete" on that corresponding row and click "Save" to apply your changes.

2.1.3 Site Group Settings

A retail chain company with multiple sites or multiple stores in different region can have global company views and reports in Analytics Managers. The sites can be group under different categories for the convenient of review by the regional manager. To achieve this, site group configuration is required to categorize the site within the same site group.

2.1.3.1 How to Create Site Group

Step 1 - Go to Settings > Site Group to access the site group list.

Step 2 - Click on the "+ New Site Group" button and update the site group name, then click the create button to create site group.

Step 3 - Update the linked site(s) and click "Save" button to save the changes.

Step 4 - Under "Advanced", there are customize site group report settings can be added.

2.1.3.2 How to Update Site Group

Similarly to area group, the linked sites can be updated in both site settings and site group settings, but advance site group settings can only be updated in site group settings.

2.1.3.2.1 Update in Site Group Settings

Step 1 - Go to Settings > Site Group to view the existing site group list, click on the pen icon to edit the site group details.

Step 2 - Update the linked site(s) or advanced settings, then click on the "Save" button to save the changes.

2.1.3.2.2 Update Site Settings

Step 1 - Go to Settings > Site to view the existing site list and click on the pen icon to edit the site details.

Step 2 - Update the site group tagging and click on the "Save" button to save the changes.

2.1.3.3 How to Delete Site Group

Step 1 - Go to Settings > Site Group to view the existing site group list, click on the pen icon to edit the site group details.

Step 2 - Click on the "Delete" button to remove the site group from the server.

2.2 Device Settings

In this section, we will brief through on the set up which are related to device, such as ad device, remove device, device setting, device network specifications and some requirements for using our server.

2.2.1 New Device Basic Setting

There are 2 methods of adding new devices, which are add device during installation and add device from portal manually. The importance of adding all your device on your company portal is to ease the process of managing all the devices, including daily checking on the status of the devices.

2.2.1.1 How to Add Device During Installation

This section is mainly talk about the procedure of adding new device during the device installation by the installer. Customer would need to share the pairing code, which is unique for all site(s) to the installer when doing device installation. Without doing this, the installed device would not attach to any site and the data collected by the device would not reflect in the site report. There are two methods to view the pairing code.

Method 1:  Go to Settings > Site, to copy the Pairing Code columns in the treeview and share with your installer during their installation.

Method 2: 

Step 1 - Click on Settings > Site > Edit button in the Action column of the newly created site.

Step 2 - Copy the pairing code to share with your installer during their installation. (Site detail must be pre-configure before the installation.)

Step 3 - The installer is required to insert the pairing code by following the steps in Device Configuration to pair up the device with the site.

2.2.1.2 How to Manually Add Device from Portal

This section will guide you on the steps to add new device on the FootfallCam Analytic Manager manually after the device installation by the installer. The serial number of the device will be required when adding the device and is able to obtain on the back of the device.

Step 1 - Click on Settings > Device > "+ New Device" button to access the Add Device page.

Step 2 - Complete the process by entering all the required fields and click on Submit button.

2.2.1.3 How to Remove Existing Device

Step 1 - Click on Settings > Device > Edit button in the Action column to access the Device page.

Step 2 - Click on Delete button to remove the device.

2.2.1.4 How to Reallocated Device

Step 1 - Please refer to Section 2.2.1.3 How to Remove Existing Device to remove the device you want to reassign.

Step 2 - Once the device has been removed, please refer to Section 2.2.1.2 How to Manually Add Device from Portal to re-add the device to the desired site.

2.2.2 Device Setting Configuration

2.2.2.1 Device Settings Page

In this section, we will talk about the basic setting of the devices. In this device settings page, we have six tag pages.

Click on Settings > Device > Edit button in the Action column of the device to manage to access the Device. To update or modify all the expected field and click Save button to save the changes.

2.2.2.1.4 Tickets & Activity Log

In this page, it will show all the Support Ticket, RMA(s) cases, and the Allocation & Deallocation Log. 

2.2.2.2 Device Remote Connection

Please use the method that best suits your situation:

Method 1 - Access the device directly: 

Please refer to the Device Installation Guide to connect to the device and open the settings page.

Method 2 - Access through the Portal: 

Step 1 - Go to FootfallCam Analytics Manager V9™ and click on Settings > Device > Edit button in the Action column of the device to manage access to the Device. 

Step 2 - Click on the Settings tab and go to the Security & Privacy section.

Step 3 - By clicking on the Remote Access URL, go to the Device Control Panel page

Note: If the Device Control Panel page takes a long time to load, please try turning the Remote Access toggle off and on again. This will generate a new Remote Access URL and may resolve the loading issue.

2.2.2.2.1 Update Device Default Password

There is only one place where you can update or reset the device's default password, but there are several ways to access that page. Please follow Section 2.2.2.2 to open the page. Once you are there, simply click "Reset Password" to change the password.

For detailed steps, please refer to the Device Installation Guide.

2.2.2.2.2 Generate Password Reset Key

If the device is a Pro2 2025, when resetting the password, the "Password Reset Key" will need to be entered. Please refer to here for more information about the Company Settings page.

Step 1 - Go to Settings > Company, and click on the "Generate Password Reset Key" link to open the page

Step 2 - Key in the last 6 digits of the device serial number and click on "Generate Reset Key".

2.2.2.3 Device Network Specifications

FootfallCam™ Devices consumes network bandwidth, allowing servers to collect and process the data into analytical information in FootfallCam™ Analytic Manager V9. Below are the Minimum Bandwidth Usage for FootfallCam™ Devices.

* FootfallCam Centroid and Centroid Outdoor supports up to 8 input sources simultaneously.
** Measured with a 30-minute long 1080p 25 FPS recording.

2.2.2.4 Requirements for using FootfallCam™ Cloud Server

This section required attention from the customers that chosen to use our FootfallCam™ Cloud Servers. This is important for them to whitelist those IP Address to ensure that the services provided by FootfallCam™ can work properly.

2.2.4 Firmware and Patch Update

Please navigate to Settings > Device > "Edit" button to access the device settings page and check the current firmware and patch version. Additionally, you can view the device's firmware version directly on the Device Management page.

2.2.4.1 Firmware update

3D People counting device have different firmware versions like:
- 3.2.2
- 3.2.2a
- 3.4.1
- 4.6.0
- 4.2.0

There are different firmware versions for the device as we have different variant of hardware for the device. In order to know the firmware version of the device, user can access to the device info page and liveview page of the counter, it will be shown as '3.4.1' (just an example).

When and how to perform firmware update?
Firmware update is different from patch update where it requires manually update by FootfallCam technical personnel. Therefore, if the device is having an old firmware version, please contact FootfallCam by raising a support ticket to get the device updated.
Below are the old firmware version that requires update:
- Firmware that starts with '3.2.0', might be followed by i, j, k, etc.
- 3.3.0
- 3.5.0
- 3.8.0

2.2.4.2 Patch update

What is patch update?
A patch is a update revision for a device firmware. The higher the number of the patch version, the later the patch version of the device.

When and how to perform patch update?
When there's a new patch version released, the device has its own mechanism to update on its own by downloading the patch file from server. Hence, user wouldn't need to manually perform update for the device. However, if the device patch is too old, then there's a need to manually update the patch version for the device. In order to know the patch version of the device, user can access to the device info page and liveview page of the counter, it will be shown as '3.4.1_patch_p191' (just an example), the part p191 is the patch number/version of the device. Each firmware version has its own patch version.

If the device is have patch number/version older than below, please contact FootfallCam by raising a support ticket to get the device updated.

2.2.4.3 Summary

Device with outdated firmware or patch version tends to have legacy issue and software bugs that will affect the user experience.

Therefore, it's important to keep the device updated to the latest version to ensure the device working properly.

2.3 Area Settings

The counting data is tied to the area available for the company, thus setting up area is extremely important in order to store the data in the server and display on the dashboards and reports afterward.

Area is a smaller region of focus within a site, and it is one of the traffic analysis methods that normally used in shopping malls, offices and stores with multi-level to understand the distribution of visitors throughout the site. Taking the shopping mall as an example, which applicable to any other industry, the site can be partitioned into different area such as different floors or different shops. Devices are required to cover all entrances and exits for each area in order to obtain the data.

2.3.1 Area Configuration

In this section, we will explain how to create, edit and update area settings.

2.3.1.1 How to Create Area

The site entrance area will be created and included the devices with entrance counting enabled automatically when the site is created. This area is mainly for the footfall of the site. If you wish to create more areas, you may follow the steps below:

Step 1 - Go to Settings > Area to view the existing area list.

Step 2 - Click on the "+ New Area" button and fill up the necessary details in Create New Area pop up shown.

Step 3 - Click on the "Create" button to go into the area settings page, and configure the dataset and operating hours accordingly, then click "Save" button to create the area. For more details on dataset and operating hours, refer to section 2.3.2 Dataset and Operating Hours below.

2.3.1.2 How to Update Area

Over the time there may be having changes to be made on the area configuration, if you wish to update the area settings, you may follow the steps below:

Step 1 - Go to Settings > Area to view the existing area list, click on the pen icon to edit the area details.

Step 2 - Update the details which changes is required, then click on the "Save" button to save the changes.

2.3.1.3 How to Delete Area

We do not suggest deleting the area, as the data will be deleted and not recoverable. If you still decided to delete the data, you may follow the steps below:

Step 1 - Go to Settings > Area to view the existing area list, click on the pen icon to edit the area details.

Step 2 - Click on the "Delete Area" button to remove the area and its data from the server.

2.3.2 Dataset

Dataset in area settings, specified the device contributor onto the data type for the area. There are multiple types of data stores under the area, and each type need to be configured accordingly, to create relationship between the area with the devices for respective the data type.

2.3.2.1 Dataset Configuration - People Counting

	If the area has only 1 device, and that device only contribute to 1 area, then in normal circumstances, the IN Count is contributed by the IN Line (green) and the OUT Count is contributed by OUT Line (blue).
	If the area contains more than 1 device, then all devices should be added during area configuration.
	If 1 device is contributing to multiple areas, then the 2 areas need to be created with inverted line for the count. For example: For Area A, the IN Count is contributed by IN Line (green) while OUT Count is contributed by OUT Line (blue); For Area B, the IN Count is contributed by OUT Line (blue) while OUT Count is contributed by IN Line (green).

2.3.2.2 Dataset Configuration - Dwell Time

For each area, if visit duration is required, then Dwell Time dataset need to be set up by adding all devices which contribute to the area.

2.3.2.3 Dataset Configuration - Queue Counting

For area which required to have queue solution, the Queue Counting dataset must be set up to collect and store the data in server level, with the specific ROI of the relevant devices.

2.3.2.4 Dataset Configuration - Others

Besides people counting, dwell time for visit duration and queue counting, other metrics fall under this category, including occupancy, heat dwell and heatmap.

2.3.3 Operating Hours

Considering the use case for shopping mall, which every shop may have different operating hours, areas can have its own operating hours which different from the site. This can be set in the operating hour tab. If the store operating hour is the same as site, you may tick at the field "Same with Site Operating Hours".

2.3.4 Area Groups

Area group is referring to the group of areas, which the data is summation of the areas under the group. This area group is mainly used in shopping mall, to group the shops under same category, and review the footfall as a group.

Please be noted that area group is not applicable to occupancy, due to the nature of occupancy cannot be summed.

2.3.4.1 How to Create Area Group

Step 1 - Go to Settings > Area Group to access the area group list.

Step 2 - Click "+ New Area" and fill up the information required.

Step 3 - Click on "Create" button to go into the area group detail view.

Step 4 - Update the list of areas to be included under this area group.

2.3.4.2 How to Update Area Group

Over the time there may be having changes to be made on the area group configuration such as adding areas or removing areas. Area group configuration can be updated via area settings and area groups settings.

2.3.4.2.1 How to Update Area Group in Area Settings

Step 1 - Go to Settings > Area Group to view the existing area group list, click on the pen icon to edit the area group details.

Step 2 - Update the linked area(s), then click on the "Save" button to save the changes.

2.3.4.2.2 Update in Area Settings

Step 1 - Go to Settings > Area to view the existing area list, click on the pen icon to edit the area details.

Step 2 - Update the area group tagging, then click on the "Save" button to save the changes.

2.3.4.3 How to Delete Area Group

If you wish to remove the area group, you may follow the steps below:

Step 1 - Go to Settings > Area Group to view the existing area group list, click on the pen icon to edit the area group details.

Step 2 - Click on the "Delete Area Group" button to remove the area group from the server.

2.4 Floor Plan Settings

A Floor Plan is a diagram that visualises the location of cameras on a site's top-down floor plan. This diagram helps to confirm the number and type of devices needed to cover a site.
Users can visualise the regions within a site to be covered by each type of device. This is helpful, especially for users utilising CCTVs for people counting as the angle of CCTVs can also be visualised.
The diagrams will be stored in FootfallCam V9™ and can be easily retrieved for observation and update.

Without a floor plan, users may misjudge the number, type and mounting height of devices needed to cover a region. Without storing the floor plans in FootfallCam V9™, communication between the user and FootfallCam for the creation of a new site or an adjustment to an existing site will be less efficient due to the lack of visualisation.

2.4.1 Floor Plan Configuration

Step 1 - Go to Reporting > All Dashboards and click on "+ New Dashboard" button.

Step 2 - Fill up the information required and click on "Create" button

Step 3 - Set a reference length with any two points on the floor plan. Insert the actual distance (in meters) between these two points and click "Confirm". 

Step 4 - Click the "+" sign next to "Unplotted Device" to introduce a device to this floor plan.

Step 5 - Fill in the device details

Step 6 - In the "Layer" section, your added device will be shown under the "Device" list. Drag your device to place it onto the floor plan.

Step 7 - Use the "Rotation" field to accurately rotate a device by a given degree.

Step 8 - From the list of devices, click the "eye" button next to a device to hide it from the floor plan.

Step 9 - To remove the device from the floor plan, click the "bin" button next to it. This will return the device to the "Unplotted Device" section.

Step 10 - To permanently remove this device, click the "bin" next to the device while it is still in the "Unplotted Device" section.

Step 11 - Click the "Save" button in the top right section after completing your changes to the current floor plan on this site.

Step 12 - To export the floor plan as PDF, click the "Export as PDF" in the top right section and it will be export and downloaded in pdf format.

3.1 Data Integrity Check

A data integrity check ensures that the data collected from devices is both available and accurate for intended business use cases. This section outlines common symptoms that may affect data integrity, along with the procedures to identify and validate any data inaccuracies that need to be addressed.

3.1.1 Data Concerns

3.1.1.1 Missing Footfall Data

3.1.2 How-to Guide

3.1.2.1 Check Device Status and Accuracy Audit Stage

Step 1 - Go to Settings > Device Page and check on Devices Health Check if the device is tagged with "Offline" tag. If yes, perform the device offline troubleshooting.

Step 2 - Click on Edit action link to go to the Device Settings page and check the following settings

• Under Device Info tab, 'Active' is enabled 

• Under Settings tab, required counting usage(s) is enabled

• Under Accuracy Audit tab, device is under '#3 Tuned' or '#4 Completed' stage 

The following are the Accuracy Audit Stages for devices:

Noted:

1. The data of a device is ready to be used only when its accuracy audit stage is either #3 Tuned or #4 Completed.
2. As for the site data to be ready, all the active devices at the site must either be #3 Tuned or #4 Completed.

3.1.2.2 How to remotely view Device Live View

The Live View is the current point-of-view of the camera. With the Live View, the user can:

1. Observe the live footage from the camera and adjust the placement of the camera if necessary.
2. View the placement of the In-Out line on the live footage and observe how the "In" and "Out" counts are triggered.

The feature of remotely viewing the Live View allows users to observe the footage on FootfallCam V9™ without needing to be in the vicinity of the camera. The live footage of counts being triggered also helps the user to instantly identify any factors affecting the accuracy of the counting, for example, a change in the environment covered by the camera that has significantly altered the path of human traffic.

If a user doesn't observe the Live View of his camera, he will not know if the camera's coverage and the In-Out Line are in the optimal configuration.

To remotely view the Live View, follow the steps below:

1. Click "Settings" in the top navigation bar. Then, under "Settings" in the left navigation bar, click "Device". After that, navigate to the row of the device to observe and click "Edit" on that row.
   
   
2. Use any one of the following methods:
   1. Method 1: Viewing in FootfallCam V9™
      In the "Device Settings" page, click the "Calibration & Tuning" tab. Then, view the "Live View" tab.
      
      
   2. Method 2: Viewing via Setup Wizard

Step 1 - In the "Device Settings" page, click the "Settings" tab. Then, scroll down to the "Security & Privacy" section.

Step 2 - If the "Remote Access" selection is not set to "On", turn it on, click "Safe", and refresh the page.


Step 3 - Click on the link shown in the "Remote Access URL" field.

Step 4 - You'll be redirected to the device's Setup Wizard where you may log in. If you've forgotten your password, kindly contact "project@footfallcam.com".

Step 5 - You can now remotely observe this device's Live View.

3.1.2.3 Accuracy Audit

3.1.2.3.1 View Accuracy Audit Report

This report allows users to verify footfall data accuracy, ensure data reliability, and support business decisions with 100% accuracy validation and video proof. There are two methods to view the report:

Method 1 - Directly click on Download in the Device Management page.

Method 2 - Click on the View to be redirected to the corresponding accuracy report in Device Settings page (please refer Chapter 2: Device Management section 2.2.2.1.4).

After clicking Download or View to go the Accuracy Report page. The Summary and Validation Video will be displayed in this report. This report is accessed through a public URL, so downloading it directly as a PDF is not supported. However, you may right-click on the page and select "Save as" to download the report as an HTML file to your local file.

3.1.2.3.2  Self Accuracy Auditing

The user can perform accuracy auditing on his own initiative if he wishes to validate the counting accuracy of a counter by executing the following steps.

Noted: 

• Recorded videos will be temporarily stored for a maximum of 7 days.
• Verified videos will be temporarily stored for a maximum of 30 days.

Step 1 - In "Settings" > "Device", click the "Edit" link of any device that you would like to audit. You will be brought to the "Device Settings" page.

Step 2 - In "Device Settings", in the "Data Integrity" tab, under the "Accuracy Audit" section, click "Accuracy Audit".

Step 3 - You're now redirected to the "Verifying Video" page. You can observe the details of this device and several features of the workspace.

The following are the details of the columns in the list of recording schedules.

Step 4 - To begin the verification process, click the "Create New Recording" button to schedule a new recording and observe the pop-up.

After keying in all the details, click "Create". The page will be refreshed after the schedule(s) have been successfully created.

Step 5 - After the page has been refreshed, the user can observe that the newly added schedules will be added to the list of schedules below.

The user can delete a schedule at any time. Alternatively, the user can select multiple rows to be deleted in bulk.

Step 6 - When a schedule has been successfully executed, the user can download the scheduled files. The files will be available for a maximum of 7 days.

When the scheduled file is a video, you will be redirected to a separate link for downloading or viewing it.

If the video does not load or play correctly, try the following solutions:

Option 1: Try a different browser

Reopen the same download link using one of these browsers:

• Google Chrome
• Mozilla Firefox
• Brave

Avoid using Microsoft Edge or other unsupported browsers, as they may not display the video properly.

Option 2: Open the video using VLC Media Player

1. Open VLC Media Player.
2. Click "Media" on the top menu.
3. Select "Open Network Stream...".
4. Paste the video URL into the input box.
5. Click "Play" to stream or download the video.

Step 7 - If the user has scheduled an "Online Sim" and the video has been successfully recorded, they can click the "Audit" button to perform "Self Accuracy Auditing". The user will be redirected to the "Accuracy Audit" page.

Step 8 - Observe the Accuracy Audit page.

Step 9 - The user can now annotate the video. When the user observes any "IN" or "OUT" footfall, they can use the keyboard shortcuts to annotate.

To add a comment at a given time stamp, the user can use the keyboard shortcut or click the "+ Add Comment" link.

For each annotation/comment, the user can press the Play Button ▶ to seek to that timestamp or the Rubbish Bin 🗑️ to delete that annotation/comment.

Step 10 - The user must provide an overall comment on the annotation effort. Then, the user can press "Complete" to save the changes.

Step 11 - The user will be redirected back to the Accuracy Audit page when their changes have been successfully saved.

Step 12 - The row that has been audited will now show the "⚪ Verified" status.

3.1.2.3.3 Live View/Video Audit for Accuracy Checking

Step 1 - Go to Settings > Device Page and click on Edit in Action column to go to the device settings page
Step 2 - Under Calibration and Tuning tab > Playback tab, click on Record Video Now button
Step 3  - Start Recording and leave comments when there is  undercounting/overcounting is observed from the live view
Step 4 - End recording and save comments
(Note: Alternatively, you can also schedule video and perform accuracy audit when the video is available)

3.1.2.4 Data Audit in Data Integrity Workspace

Step 1 - Check the site data readiness,
                 If 'Site is Operating' and 'Site is Certified', proceed to Step 2

3.2 Data Preparation

Data preparation is a crucial process in transforming the raw data into a format that is suitable for analysis or modelling. In our system, we have ready with some data preparation job for our customer to perform the transformation before analysis.

3.3 Data Import and Export

As a data analytics system, user is able to import data from other source into our portal to obtain secondary metrics, such as import sales data to obtain the sales conversion and able to export our footfall data for other business purposes. Recurring data import export is available in the system, with pre-configuration.

To create import or export job, you may follow the steps below:

Step 1 - Login to Analytics Manager V9 portal via: https://v9.footfallcam.com/

Step 2 - Go to Settings > Data > Import & Export to access the existing import & export job list.

Step 3 - To create new import or export job, click on the + Create a Job button, then fill up the preferred job and select the job type, then click the Create button to proceed.

Step 4 - You will be redirected to the detail import export job page according to the job type selected. Fill up all the details and click on the Create Job button to create the job.

4.2 Rules Engine

4.2.1 Rule Settings

4.2.1.1 How to create a new rule?

Step 1 - Go to Settings > Rule Settings > click on + New Rules button.

Step 2 - After click on the + New Rules button, it will show a drop-down list. 

Step 3 - Please select "Create from Rule Template" to create the rule and click on "Create" button after select the expected rule type.

Step 4 - It will bring you to the related settings page, please fill in all the information and click on "Save"

4.2.1.2 How to edit the rule?

Step 1 - Go to Settings > Rule Settings to view the existing rule list, click on the pen icon to edit the rule.

Step 2 - Next, it will bring you to the related setting page. Please do the update in that settings page and click on Save button to save the changes.

4.2.2 Threshold Settings

4.2.2.1 How to Create New Threshold

Step 1 - Click on Settings > Threshold Settings > Create New Threshold button to access the Threshold Settings page.

Step 2 - Fill in the relevant information for the required fields and click on the Create button.

4.2.2.2 How to Update Threshold

Step 1 - Go to Settings > Threshold Settings to view the existing threshold list, click on the pen icon to edit the threshold.

Step 2 - Update the threshold settings and click on "Update" button to update the changes.

4.2.2.3 How to Delete Threshold

There are two methods to delete the threshold: Delete Single Threshold and Bulk Delete Threshold.

Method 1: Delete Single Threshold

Step 1 - Go to Settings > Threshold Settings to view the existing threshold list, click on the grey pen icon to delete the threshold.

Step 2 - Click on "Yes" button to delete the threshold.

Method 2: Bulk Delete Threshold

Step 1 - Select the threshold you want to delete in the Threshold Page.

Step 2 - Click on the Bulk Delete Thresholds button.

Step 3 - Click on "Yes" button to bulk delete the threshold.

4.3 Custom Dashboard

This section explains how to create a custom dashboard using the available Analytics Widgets. You can use these widgets to build dashboards tailored to your needs. For more details on the types of widgets and their usage, please refer to the section 4.1.3.

Step 1 - Go to Reporting > Analytics Widgets > select one of the analytics widget. Eg. Time Series Comparison

 Step 2 - Select desired site, metric and the date range. Then click on Apply button to see the output.

Step 3 - Click on Save button at the top and select Save As.

Step 4 - Name the widget.

Step 5 - Go to Reporting > Dashboard > All Dashboard > Click on + New Dashboard

Step 6 - Fill in your dashboard name and select type as Custom Analytics.Step 7 - Click on switch to designer > select the expected widget icon on the left side bar.

Step 8 - Click on option and select the widget that you saved.

Step 9 - Click Save and refresh.

Note: All analytics widgets can be saved except Analytics Centre, Store Location Analytics, Footfall and Sales Uplift Analytics.

5.1 User Account Configuration

In this section, we will explain about the procedures to create, update and delete user and user group.

5.1.1 User Group Settings

User Group is used to categorize users into different groups to ease the permission granting procedure to the users in a specific group.

Note:

1. There are 2 default user groups:

   1. Admin (hierarchy =1)
      Given all accesses for all sites and site groups data and all available page permissions, including company management, user management and user group management. 

   2. User (hierarchy = 2)
      Given basic page permissions and the site access referring to user configuration.

2. The first user that registered in the company is auto-assigned to the Admin user group, while other new users created can user group is assigned by the admin who created the user.

5.1.1.1 How to Create New User Group

Step 1 - Click on Settings > User and Contact > User Group > Add New User Group button to access the User Group Settings page.

Step 2 - Fill up the necessary details and granted the page permission then click on Save button to save the user group.

5.1.1.2 How to Update Existing User Group

Step 1 - Click on Settings > User and Contact > User Group > Edit button in Action column to access the User Group Settings page.

Step 2 - Update the relevant information and click on Save button to save the changes.

5.1.1.3 How to Remove Existing User Group

Note:  The default user groups (Admin and User) are unable to be removed.

You may select to disable the user group or totally remove it. Disabling a user group keeps it in the portal but makes it inactive, allowing you to enable it again when needed. On the other hand, removing a user group permanently deletes it, meaning it will no longer exist. If you may need to use the group in the future, we recommend disabling it instead of removing it.

5.1.1.3.1 Disable User Group

Step 1 - Click on Settings > User and Contact > User Group > Edit to access the User Group Settings page.

Step 2 - Untick Active field and click Save button to save the changes.

5.1.1.3.2 Remove User Group

Step 1 - Reassign all users in the user group that need to be deleted.

Step 2 - Click on Settings > User and Contact > User Group > Edit to access the User Group Settings page.

Step 3 - Click on the Delete button to remove the user group.

5.1.1.4 Page Permission List

Each page in the Analytics Manager V9 portal has its own permission, below is the list of pages with its permission:

5.1.1.5 Page Access and Permission Control

Page access and permission control define user authority levels, allowing specific users to access designated pages and manage their respective permissions on FootfallCam V9™. Different page permissions can be assigned based on user roles. For example, an administrator can grant a Human Resources manager the ability to create, view, update, and delete user and user group settings on the User page, while a business manager may be given access to create, view, and update dashboard reports on the View Dashboard page.

Setting permission controls is essential to prevent issues that could negatively impact company administration and evaluation. Without proper configuration, certain users may obtain unintended permissions beyond their authority, or high-level employees might be unintentionally restricted from accessing pages necessary for their management responsibilities.

Step 1 - Click on Settings > User and Contact > User Group > Edit button in the Action column to access the User Group Settings page.

Step 2 - At Permissions, tick one or multiple permissions, click the Save button to save the change.

Step 3 - A message will show to indicate a successful change

5.1.2 User Settings

Note:

1. Only default Admin user group can manage the user configuration (create, edit or delete) which belongs to the company.
   

5.1.2.1 How to Create New User

Step 1 - Click on Settings > User and Contact > User > Add New User button to access the User Settings page.

Step 2 - Fill up the necessary details and click on Save button to create the user.

5.1.2.2 How to Update Existing User Details

Step 1 - Click on Settings > User and Contact > User > Edit button in Action column to access the User Settings page.

Step 2 - Update the relevant information and click on Save button to save the changes that have been made.

5.1.2.3 How to Update Existing User Site Access and Site Group Access

Site Access and Site Group Access are levels of user authority that grant users full access to specific site groups or sites. A user can be granted "Site Group level" or "Site Level" access. The former allows users to access site groups and pages that are exclusive to users with site group access while the latter allows a user to access individual sites. These authorities can be granted to different users according to their roles. For example, a region manager will have "Site Group Level" access and can access multiple site groups, while a low-level store manager will only have "Site Level" access to view a single site.

Setting these access/authorities accurately is crucial to avoid scenarios that will adversely affect the company's administration and evaluation. Examples of such scenarios include certain users obtaining unintended access to some sites beyond their authority, or when a high-level employee is unintentionally restricted from accessing a site group under his management.

Step 1 - Click on Settings > User and Contact > User > Edit button in the Action column to access the User Settings page.

Step 2 - At Site Access, change Access Level to Site Level.

Step 3 - Select and move a site from the Available Site(s) to the Selected Site(s), click the Save button to save the change.

Step 4 - A message will show to indicate a successful change.

Step 5 - At Site Access, change Access Level to Site Group Level.

Step 6 - Select and move multiple or all sites from the Available Site Group(s) to the Selected Site Group(s), click the Save button to save the change.

Step 7 - A message will show to indicate a successful change.

5.1.2.4 How to Remove Existing User

User that has been created cannot be deleted, but you may inactive the user so that they are unable to login to the portal anymore.

Step 1 - Click on Settings > User and Contact > User > Edit button in Action column to access the User Settings page.

Step 2 - Untick Active field and click Save button to save the changes.

5.2 Contact Management

What is Contact Management?

Contact management aims to streamline and facilitate communication processes by ensuring that pertinent information, updates, and notifications are directed to the appropriate individuals among various contact types, based on their job roles and responsibilities. This framework fosters efficient collaboration, decision-making, and optimised overall business operations.

Who is it for?

What is the Consequence if Contact Management is not set?

1. Missed Notifications: Important alerts or updates may not reach the relevant individuals, leading to delayed responses or unresolved issues.

2. Extended Downtime: Without prompt notifications to the appropriate contacts, issues might take longer to resolve, affecting business operations and customer satisfaction.

5.2.1 Contact Groups

5.2.2 Add or Remove User from Contact Group

System administrator can manage the contact group by adding contacts or removing contacts.

Step 1 - Access to FootfallCam Analytic Manager V9™: http://v9.footfallcam.com/Account/Login via Google Chrome.

Step 2 - Navigate to Settings > User and Contact > Contacts Management to access the Contacts Management page.

5.2.2.1 To Add Contact(s)

Step 1 - At Contacts Management page, select the tab of the contact group which you intended to add contact.

Step 2 - Click on + Add Contacts button to trigger the Add New Contact(s) prompt.

Step 3 - Click the dropdown and select the user(s) to be added into the contact group, multiple selection is allowed.

Step 4 - Click outside of the selection bar to close the dropdown and click on the Add button to save the changes.

5.2.2.2 To Remove Contact(s)

Step 1 - At Contacts Management page, at the tab of the contact group which you intended to remove the contact.

Step 2 - Click on Remove link at the Action column of the selected contact to remove it from the contact group.

5.3 Email Scheduler

5.4 Recipient Group

What is a Recipient Group?

A Recipient Group is a defined list of users belonging to a company who are grouped to receive certain updates. 

Who is it for?

This feature allows business analysts to conveniently send reports to a collection of recipients in one go.

What is the Consequence if the Recipient Group is Not Set??

The recipient group feature is utilized in pages such as Report Schedule, Import & Export, Device Offline alerts, and more. If the recipient group is not configured, clients will be unable to select the appropriate email addresses to receive specific notifications or documents when configuring these features.

Where can I see it?

Step 1 - Access to FootfallCam Analytic Manager V9™: http://v9.footfallcam.com/Account/Login via Google Chrome.

Step 2 - Navigate to Reporting > Email Scheduler > Recipient Group to access the recipient group page.

5.4.1 How can I create and configure a new group?

Step 1 - At Recipient Group page, click on "+ New Recipient Group" button.

Step 2 - Fill up the necessary details and click "Create" button to continue.

Step 3 - Fill up the necessary details and click "Save" button to create the recipient group.

5.4.2 How can I remove an existing recipient group?

Step 1 - At Recipient Group page, navigate to the recipient group you wish to make changes and click on the grey pen of the "Action" column to go into the Recipient Group Setting page.

Step 2 - Click on the "Delete" to delete the recipient group.

5.4.3 How can I update an existing recipient group?

Step 1 - Click on the grey pen of the "Action" column to go into the Recipient Group Setting page.

Step 2- You may update the details accordingly and click on the "Save" to save your changes.

5.5 Security and Privacy Settings

5.5.1 Data Privacy Policy

FootfallCam is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of personal data of clients, business partners and other identifiable individuals. As part of this commitment, this privacy policy governs FootfallCam actions relating to the collection, use and disclosure of personal data. Each employee bears a personal responsibility for complying with this policy in the fulfilment of their responsibilities at FootfallCam.

5.5.2 Data Integrity Policy

Data Integrity Policy describes the data flow of Foofallcam solution, types and usages of raw data, retention period of data, as well as description of metrices.

5.5.3 Information Security and Risk Management Policy

Information security and risk management refers to the process of managing the assets and associated risks through established procedures, standards and controls. The goal of this process is to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of assets (information) from threats and vulnerabilities.

5.6 Backup Settings

5.6.1 Server Failover

FootfallCam has two server setups: web server and database server as a full hot-standby server during any server failover. This FootfallCam setup ensures a full hot-standby server and network redundancy to support continuous operation in the event of a server failure.

The following outlines the Data Backup and Restore Plan by FootfallCam.

1. Any data failed to be stored will automatically be pushed to the hot-standby server.

2. FootfallCam technical team will receive an automated notification by the system to carry out the necessary support to diagnose and resolve the issue.

3. When the default server finally is up and running, the data will be exported back to the original server automatically.

Hence, the counters will still be collecting footfall data with no disruption or data loss for users in the process.

5.6.2 Backup Procedure

1. If Client deploys FootfallCam Cloud Server, FootfallCam is required to perform Full Back up on behalf of the Client

2. In the event that FootfallCam Cloud Server encounters any form of destruction, FootfallCam Shall restore using the redundant backup for counter functioning purpose

3. Backup must be located in separated locations to maintain its availability and functionality.

4. FootfallCam ensures that all backups are performed as scheduled and reviews the backup process on all servers daily. Logs are maintained to verify the amount of data backed up and the unsuccessful backup occurrences.

5. FootfallCam Servers are located at Germany, United Kingdom and Malaysia. Client can select which of the three FootfallCam servers they would like host their backup.

5.6.3 Backup Frequency

Full Back up is performed daily and retained for seven (7) days. Subsequently, daily Full Back up from 14 days, 21 days, 96 days and 360 days prior to the current date will be retained for reference purpose. Redundant backup will be performed daily and only the latest three copies of redundant backup will be retained.

5.6.4 Backup Content

5.6.6 Backup Failure

In the event of an unsuccessful backup, Client will receive email notification and shall take the following immediate actions:

1. Investigate the backup on the client, checking backup logs and resolve the issue

2. Resume backup and monitor the backup progress to be performed as usual

3. To perform manual backup if the backup fails repeatedly

4. Send email request to support@footfallcam.com if issue persists

5.6.7 Restoration

Restore Type

The option to restore data from which server (Client Server, FootfallCam Cloud Server, FootfallCam Sub Server) depends on whether the Client uses own Client Server or FootfallCam Cloud Server.

Procedures

Full Restoration:

1. Full configurations will be restored from the backup server and controlled through Client server control panel.

2. In the case of corrupted data download, loaded data will be automatically deleted. Re-download will be prompted.

Partial Restoration is not available by any means.

5.6.8 Contingency Plan

In the event of serious data destruction (e.g. server destruction), one copy of Full Backup will be available from FootfallCam Sub server for recovery purpose. This Full Backup is scheduled weekly to FootfallCam Sub Server.

Only three (3) copies of latest Full Backup (7 days, 14 days and 28 days before current date) will be kept.

5.7 Company Settings

In this chapter, you will be briefed through the steps to edit company account such as update the company name, logo and account type and also edit the settings which will be applied to report feature. In addition, you can obtain the steps to setup public holiday of the company under this section.

5.7.1 How to Edit Company Account

Below are the steps to edit the details of your company account:

STEP 1 - Access to FootfallCam Analytic Manager V9™: http://v9.footfallcam.com/Account/Login via Google Chrome.

STEP 2 - Navigate to Settings > Company to access the Company Settings Page.

STEP 3 - Update the required fields and click on "Save" button to save the changes that have been made (if any).

5.7.2 How to Edit Report Setting

Below are the steps for the set up which will be applied to the report feature:

STEP 1 - At Company Settings page, click on the Report Configuration section.

STEP 2 - Update the required fields in Report Setting and click on Save button in the Company Settings page to save the changes.

5.7.3 How to Send Automated Emails  to Specific Email Address

This only applicable for customer who have completed server installation. Users need to configure email server details to send automated emails from own server to specific email address according to email scheduler. 

STEP 1 - At the Company Settings Page, click on the Email Server section.

STEP 2 - Update the required fields and click on Save button to save the changes.

5.7.4 How to Configure Direct Export Data from Device

This page is designed to enable customers to directly export data from their devices while showing the additional data information.

STEP 1 - At the Company Settings Page, click on the Data section.

STEP 2 - Enable the FTP setting to display the relevant configuration options. Complete all the required fields and click on the Save button to apply and save.

5.8 Server Setup

You can choose to host FootfallCam Solution into your on-premise servers. This option enables you to further securely store and complete control of data in their own premises, with the same methodology and functionality as the Cloud Servers provided by FootfallCam.

5.8.1 System Requirements

To host FootfallCam™ Solution on-premise, you must prepare 2 server instances for hosting whole FootfallCam™ Solution: -

• Microsoft Windows Server 2016+ (Window Server)

• Ubuntu Server 20.04 (Ubuntu Server)

A correct servers' specification is important to ensure the FootfallCam™ Solution is running reliably and consistently without compromised performance. Table below shows the system requirements for hosting FootfallCam™ Solution, corresponding to the number of FootfallCam™ Devices being supported: -

5.8.2 Procedures

FootfallCam™ Solution installation and setup can only be done by our FootfallCam™ Technical Specialists. Hence, you are required to order a Software Installation Service from us with one-off installation fee.

Below are the overall steps on deploying FootfallCam™ on-premise server on client site. 

STEP 1 - Identify/consult FootfallCam™ on on-premise server requirements and prepare server(s).

5.8.3 Backup Procedure for Client Server 

1. If Client deploys own server (Client Server), Client is required to perform their own Full Backup

2. FootfallCam will not perform Full Back up on behalf of the Client in FootfallCam Cloud Server

3. FootfallCam will provide Client with the backup function to run their own backup

4. In the event that Client Server encounter any forms of destruction, FootfallCam shall restore using the redundant backup for counter functioning purpose

5. Backup must be located in separated locations to maintain its availability and functionality

5.9  Multi-Factor Authentication(MFA)

V9 supports Multi-Factor authentication; you may use FreeOTP or Google Authenticator to authenticate.

5.9.1 How to set up MFA authentication for V9 account

STEP 1: Click on Profile on your V9 portal after login

STEP 2: At the User Profile Settings, click on Configure. You will be redirected to an account management console

STEP 3: In the account console, click on Set up authentication application

STEP 4: You will see a page with a QR code and instructions. Follow the instructions and fill in the One-time code and Device Name

6.0  Single Sign-On (SSO)

V9 offers Single Sign-On (SSO) as a login option, supporting the SAML 2.0 protocol for user authentication.

6.0.1 How to set up Single Sign-On for V9 account

STEP 1: Contact project@footfallcam.com, and we will provide the necessary details for configuring your Identity Provider (IdP), such as Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace, etc.

STEP 2: Once the setup is completed on both ends, you will be provided with a unique login URL.

STEP 3: Before logging in via your Identity Provider, make sure a user account has already been created in V9 for the email you want to use. If the user does not exist, please contact your administrator to create it in V9 first.

STEP 4: Once the account is ready, enter the unique login URL in your browser. You will be redirected to your Identity Provider's login page. Log in using the email you want to use for V9 access.

STEP 5: If this is your first time logging in via SSO, you will be redirected to the account linking page. Click "Add to existing account" button to link your email. This step is only required for the first login and will not be needed for subsequent logins.

After clicking "Add to existing account", a verification link will be sent to your email. Click the verification link in the email to complete the process.

End-User Login Method

Step 1 - Click on the FFC Cloud / Reseller / Installer Login button to open a pop-up window.

Step 2 - Enter your email address and the password. Next, click the Login button to login to Support Chat App.

6.2.3 Change User Password

STEP 1 - Access to FootfallCam Analytic Manager™:V9 forgot password / V8 Forgot password
STEP 2 - Enter your email address and click on Submit for V9 / Enter your username and click on Submit for V8
STEP 3 - Check your inbox for the new password generated by FootfallCam server.
STEP 4 - Access to FootfallCam Analytic Manager™: http://v9.footfallcam.com with new generated password.
STEP 5 - Click on your username on the top right and select "Profile".
STEP 6 - Click on Change Password and enter your preferred password.
STEP 7- Click on Save to complete the process.

6.2.4 Adding New User

End-User:

In order to be added into support chat group, you will need to have an Analytics Manager account created. If you does not have an account, kindly contact your Analytic Manager account admin to create a user for you, portal admin may refer to Analytics Manager New User Creation user guide for further information.

If you already have an Analytics Manager account, please contact your Reseller or FootfallCam Team to get approval by providing the Username and Support Chatroom Name.

STEP 1 - Create an FootfallCam Analytic Manager account for the email to be added into chat group if you do not have any yet. [Refer user guide here to create new user.]
STEP 2 - If you have an reseller, kindly raise to your reseller with support chat group name and username to get the approval to join respective support chat group. 
If you are directly under FootfallCam, kindly raise a support ticket with the support chat group name and username to get approval be added into the chat group. [Raise the ticket with category "Work Order Request".]
STEP 3 - Once the reseller / FootfallCam team review the case and approved, the user will be added into the chat group.

6.3 Raise a Ticket

6.3.1 Support Portal

The Support Portal is where customers can submit any issues they encounter, allowing our team to provide prompt and effective assistance. It also serves as a dedicated hub for users to manage their support requests, including raising new tickets and monitoring existing ones.

6.3.2 When to raise a ticket

6.3.2.1 Assessments to be Made Before Reporting an Issue

Before raising a ticket, it is essential to ensure that any identified data inaccuracies are not the result of false alarms. If a store detects a data discrepancy, it should alert FootfallCam personnel for further investigation. However, users must first confirm that the issue is genuine and not caused by erroneous alerts.

6.3.2.2 FootfallCam Support Workflows

All support services and communications are managed through the Support Portal module within the FootfallCam Analytic Manager. Users have access to the Issue Tracker to report issues with their people counting devices. Upon receiving a report, FootfallCam support personnel will diagnose the issue and respond directly, providing guidance for resolution. The Issue Tracker serves as the primary channel for communication between users and FootfallCam support personnel.

6.4 Remote Installation Support

6.4.1 Importance of Remote Installation Support

Remote installation support connects you with experts with in-depth knowledge of the system. They can guide you through the installation process, ensuring that every step is executed correctly, and minimizing the risk of errors.

6.4.2 When to Request Remote Installation Support

To ensure we provide you with the best service, please request remote installation support at least 48 hours ahead. This advance notice allows us to schedule the right expert, prepare necessary resources, and avoid any potential delays. It helps us deliver a smooth and efficient installation process at a time that suits you.

6.4.3 Step-by-step on how to request Installation Support

Step 1: Select the Support Ticket Button.

Step 2: Choose Service Request.

Step 3: Click on the Add New Request button.

A New Service Request form will appear.

After completing the form, click the Submit button to submit the request.

6.5 RMA

Devices that suspected to be faulty must be diagnose by FootfallCam technical team and get authorisation before sending back the device to us. Refer to 6.2.3 How to raise a ticket to raise a support ticket for FootfallCam technical team to diagnose the counter. FootfallCam technical team will open a RMA ticket if they had confirmed that the counter is faulty. You may then refer to the guide message in the RMA ticket for further arrangement.

6.6 Billing Information Update Request

If you need to update any billing-related information or have billing-related enquiries, such as your billing address, company name, or account details, please note that these changes cannot be made directly in the system. To request an update, email our Accounts team at account@footfallcam.com, including your company name, billing address, contact person, the information you wish to update, and any supporting documents if applicable.
