REFINING STAFF HOURS

Optimising staffing allocation to conserve human resources does not mean reducing the number of staff. In the illustration, the sales earned from Day 1 is considerably higher compared to Day 2 with the same number of traffic albeit with more staff hours placed in. ADJUST STAFF WORKING HOURS

Adjust and optimise the staff working hours based on the visitor count of the store. In the illustration above, there is an exceptionally high number of visitors during 13:00, this means that staff should not go for lunch break during this hour to cater to the increased traffic. Upper management may allocate staffs to their stores based on the historical trend of footfall to minimise the impact of inefficient resources allocation.
