Power-Over-Ethernet (PoE) combines data and power into one cable.
This helps simplify installation and make cable management easy.
Once plugged into the network router, the counter automatically connects to our server and software.
Simple setup means that no IT networking knowledge is required by the on-site engineer.
Just follow the guide, anyone can do it!
Once installed, the counter starts learning from video and WiFi traffic patterns in order to define the best-fit counting lines, brightness and floor space area.
Once the tuning is complete, it will remain the same until the counter is moved to a new position.
All counting data is stored inside the counter in case of failures, such as network connection issues.
Each counter has a diagnostic checkup system built-in, to try and resolve issues automatically.
Health Check Notification
All counters have a routine health check every 5 minutes and send an email notification if a fault is detected.

Our people counter would be installed on the ceiling in the middle of a doorway, facing down perpendicularly in order to count people coming in or going out when they pass by the counter. The counter should be installed as close to the door as possible so that it does not pick up activity from inside the store by mistake, which could affect the counting accuracy (usually we intall counters 1m away from the door).Read more on our FAQ
