Mindsys, FootfallCam’s partner in Greece, has won an award at the BITE Awards 2026 for its visitor analytics project at The Mall Athens. The deployment uses FootfallCam Pro2 people counting system for visitor flow measurement, live occupancy monitoring and real-time occupancy analysis.

Delivered by Mindsys in collaboration with LAMDA Development, the project provides visitor data to support shopping centre operations, staffing and marketing decisions. It gives management a basis for reviewing traffic patterns and understanding changes in demand across trading periods.

Mindsys reports accuracy above 98% in visitor flow measurement. Its announcement also highlights occupancy information supporting emergency planning and a data foundation for developing business intelligence dashboards.

For shopping centre teams, the practical value lies in connecting measurement to daily decisions. Visitor trends can inform staffing plans and campaign reviews, while current occupancy information can support operational coordination. These applications help teams use a common set of measures when discussing demand and resource allocation.

The Mall Athens project combines FootfallCam technology with Mindsys’s local delivery. The award recognises the project and provides a reference for further collaboration in Greece.

FootfallCam congratulates Mindsys on the award and looks forward to continuing the partnership.
